I am in Hong Kong, where leaders from the Asia-Pacific airline industry are meeting for Greener Skies 2009, a conference where we will discuss the recent industry announcement about reaching carbon neutral growth from 2020 and begin to chart a way forward for implementing this ambitious goal.
Among the people gathered here are: Tony Tyler, CEO of Cathay Pacific; Chew Choon Seng, CEO of Singapore Airlines; Rob Fyfe, CEO of Air New Zealand; Emirsyah Satar, CEO of Garuda Indonesia; Steve Howard, CEO of The Climate Group and a host of other executives from across the region.
We will be live blogging from the event throughout tomorrow (Tuesday 6 October) and the twitter feed will be quite active as well. We will also be doing a whole series of interviews with the delegates which will be posted on the YouTube channel.
